Today is the feast of christ the universal king. A day the church set aside for us to celebrate and show christ to the world. " i saw in the night visions... one like a son of man, and he came to the ancient of days and was presented before him. and to him was given dominion and glory and the kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him..." well, because we deal with people everyday, it is pertinent that we show christ to them not only today, but also throughout our life time. one good way to do this is by showing love through our words and actions.
At a time like this, what this world needs is not money or technology advancement, but more love. only the love of christ in which we preach can reduce the hate and turbulence we face all around the world. so as we show christ to the world today, be motivated to show more love to people all around you. realize that if you say you love God and it does not reflect in your character, then that's not love. true love turns words and feelings into actions.
Therefore, learn to become genuinely interested in others people's well being. hurting people are all around you; care for them. what some of them need is a kind word from you that'll bring them hope and encouragement. some of them need gentle and compassionate touch from you that'll convey God's love towards them. pray for them and help meet their needs. remember that if you help meet other people's needs, God will meet yours. for every little you have, learn to share with others.
Genuinely show love and overlook offences. hence, when people hurt you, instead of retaliating the same way, overlook their offences for christ's sake. No matter how cruel they may be towards you, let love overwhelm their negative actions. Remember also that people have limitations; and that's one reason why God gave us the opportunity of molding their character through our act of kindness towards them. as u preach the love of God love through your words and actions, the more unlimitedly, you will experience God's best. happy sunday to all my gallant and handsome brothers and also to all my beloved and beautiful sisters in this premium home.
