train up a child the way you want or need him/her to grow and he/she
will grow up, to be greatly............

Criticise a child because he/she will learn to condemn.

Be hostile a child because he/she will learn to fight.

Ridicule a child because he/she will learn to be shy.

Let a child live with shame because he/she will learn to feel guilty.
